Snipek is developed by Listen Notes, Inc.. We built it to work without a Snipek account, advertising, or app usage tracking.

Your snippets and iCloud

Snipek stores your snippets on your device. When iCloud is available, the app syncs them through Apple’s CloudKit service in your own private database. Local editing and access work offline. We don’t have a Snipek backend that receives or stores your library.

Favorites sync with your snippets. Recent-use history stays on each device. The apps contain no advertising or analytics SDKs and don’t send app usage data to us.

Keyboard and clipboard

The iPhone keyboard reads your saved snippet library. Optional Full Access lets it copy a snippet to the system clipboard; direct plain-text insertion works without it. The keyboard doesn’t record what you type into other apps or read surrounding messages.

Snipek writes to the clipboard when you choose Copy, and reads content you deliberately paste or drop into its editor. It doesn’t monitor the clipboard in the background. Text you paste into another app is handled by that app.

Purchases and Apple’s services

Apple processes payments and manages subscriptions. Snipek checks verified purchase information on your device to determine Pro access. We don’t receive your payment-card details. Apple may provide us with App Store sales reports or diagnostics under its own services and your Apple settings; these are separate from snippet sync.

Apple’s services are governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

This website and support

This website has no advertising or analytics trackers and doesn’t use cookies for marketing. Cloudflare hosts and protects it, and may process technical request data such as your IP address, requested page, browser information, and access time to deliver the site and keep it secure. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. The interactive preview runs in your browser; what you type into it is not sent to us.

If you email hello@snipek.com, we and our email provider receive your address and the information you send. We use it to answer your request and keep it only as needed for support or legal obligations. Please avoid sending sensitive snippet content. We don’t sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

Your control

You can edit, export, or delete your snippets. Deletions sync to your other devices; deletion markers without snippet text remain to prevent deleted content from returning. Uninstalling the app may remove local data but doesn’t itself delete your iCloud content. You can manage Snipek’s iCloud data through Apple’s storage settings. Keep an export before removing anything important.

To ask about personal information you have sent us, or request access, correction, or deletion, email hello@snipek.com. You may also have rights under your local privacy laws. We can’t retrieve your private snippet library for you.

We will update this page and its date if our practices change, and provide additional notice when required.
